North Road Veterinary Centre in Gardenvale is owned and managed by Andrew and Wendy Milledge. Our veterinary clinic offers an experienced team of professional vets, vet nurses, dog and cat groomers and cattery staff – a highly skilled and happy team that provides an exceptional pet care service.

Continuing education is an important part of the professional development for all our animal care staff. It enables us to keep up-to-date with the ongoing advancements and ever-changing technology in veterinary care.

Carli  (Senior Nurse)

Carli is a Sydney girl and has recently relocated to Melbourne. She has been nursing for over 4 years and has also completed a Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nusring. Carli has extensive nursing experience, having nursed several years in a companion animal clinic in St Ives, Sydney. She has always grown up with pets, living with 4 dogs in Sydney! She is currently the proud owner of a gorgeous Cavoodle, Jackson!

 
 
Melissa (Senior Nurse)

We welcome Mel back in 2015 after a 4 year absence being a Mum! Mel is kept very busy at home with her two gorgeous boys, 4year old Milo and 5 year old Sonny. Mel is also currently studying Interior Design at RMIT. 


Ingrid 

Ingrid joined the team at North Road in 2011 and is currently studying the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She has a very large animal family; three cats- Henry, Angus ( both RSPCA adoptees) and Midge (an orphan she hand reared from one week of age), Bonnie, a Staffy x and four birds (cockatiels, a budgie and a peach faced lovebird). Ingrid also has a passion for wildlife, having been a volunteer at the Wildlife Care Network, caring for injured and orphaned wildlife, and also for the Phillip Island Penguin Study Program, weighing and measuring penguins and monitoring their roosting sites.

 
Leeanne

Leeanne is a weekend nurse at North Road. She has a wealth of nursing experience and has been part of the team at North Road since 1995! As well as general vet nursing, Leeanne has also worked extensively in emergency medicine and also as an anaesthetic technician at the University of Melbourne. She has completed the Certificate IV in Vet Nursing and the Diploma in Emergency and Critical Care Vet Nursing. Leeanne enjoys spending time with family and friends, sewing and walking her dogs, Thomin and Jarvis, Staffy x's. She is also the proud owner of Emo Bones, a domestic medium hair cat.
