 North Road Veterinary Centre

The North Road Veterinary Centre in Gardenvale was established in 1969 and prides itself in offering the very best health care for all your family pets, including dog and cat grooming, cat boarding in our cattery, all in a friendly, family-like environment where we strive to ensure that our clients and their pets always feel comfortable and relaxed.

Owned and managed by Drs Andrew and Wendy Milledge, our veterinary clinic offers an experienced and empathetic team of professional vets, nurses, groomers, cattery staff and a puppy preschool to provide complete and personalised care for you and your four-legged friends. CORONAVIRUS MANAGEMENT
UNDER GOVERNEMENT REGULATIONS VETERINARIANS ARE REGARDED AS AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE AND CAN REMAIN OPEN

Please be reassured we are here to look after you and your four-legged family.
For the safety of you, the community and the North Road team we have introduced these precautions.
  • please wait outside on arrival, and phone the clinic on 95964804 for directions as to when you and your pet can enter the clinic. This is to minimise people numbers inside the clinic at any one time.
  • in situations where a vet or nurse can attend to your pet's needs without a face to face consultation, a nurse may take your pet into the clinic without you attending the appointment directly.
  • please use the hand sanitiser provided when inside the waiting room on both arrival and departure, and also practise proper respiratory hygiene. A 20 sec complete hand rub is essential.
  • one person only is to attend the clinic with one pet, unless prior arrangement in special circumstances has been discussed with us.
  • clients with multiple pets needing consultations will be allocated appointments for each pet on different days.
  • please maintain a safe social distance of 1.5 metres from other clients and the North Road Team when inside the clinic. There is a safe distance yellow line at the front desk we ask you to stand behind.
  • please ring and preorder food/medications to minimise waiting time on pick up
  • we are requesting cashless payments
  • if you are unwell, we ask you not to attend the clinic with your pet, and organise an alternative person to attend instead, or reschedule your appointment. If this is not possible, we will discuss with you other arrangements to enable your pet to be seen by us.
  • if you are in self-isolation and your pet requires attention, please call us to organise a safe option for us to attend to your pet.

We will keep you updated as this situation continues to evolve.

We thank you all for your ongoing understanding and patience as we work together through the difficult times ahead.
